Speakman is an innovative producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist whose experience on both sides of the camera ranges from the big screen, to the small screen and, now — the second screen. He writes for trade publications, speaks at conferences and film festivals, and engages in interviews on media outlets such as KTLA News, The Los Angeles Times, Inc. Magazine and The Huffington Post.
Speakman founded ENGAGEIA – a digital, mobile and experiential agency that works with startups, brands and entertainment properties – before he co-founded FAMEUS, a new social network listed on the Huffington Post’s “Top 10 Startups in LA” in 2015, connecting members of the entertainment industry in innovative ways with a unique technology.
Speakman has an international network of professionals and influencers, having orchestrated a variety of film and technology projects in Canada, the U.S., the United Kingdom, Asia and India. He has produced hundreds of events across Canada and the U.S., while working with clientele ranging from A-List celebrities, to tech mobile startups. He leverages his connections to unite organizations with the right partners – connecting the dots others may overlook to take projects from concept to completion, while building an attentive audience along the way.
